The Fortitude of Sand: Waves of Persistence [JULY 2024]

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. Upon the shore where waves caress, We build our dreams with gentle finesse, Each grain of sand, a fleeting hope, A fragile fortress on life's slope. With careful hands, we shape our fate, Foundations laid, though delicate, Each spire high, a hope we mold, With dreams so bright and hearts so bold. But tides of life, they ebb and flow, Bringing both joy and sorrow's woe, Despair arrives with every wave, Threatening the dreams we crave. Yet in the ebb, a truth we find, Life's beauty lies in what’s left behind, Not in the castle grand and tall, But in the joy of building all. Despair may wash our walls to sea, But hope rebuilds with constancy, In every loss, a seed is sown, A chance to craft a new, to own. Though failures come and seem to stay, Don't surrender, find your way, Like Edison’s bulb, in failures' sight, Success will come, just hold on tight. The rule of life is victo...

Name Fame: The Power Behind Labels [JULY 2024]

Image
Image created using photo editing software © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2011. All rights reserved. Ever wonder why we’re all obsessed with names? It’s not just about flexing unique tags or flexing cool titles. Names shape our vibes, set the scene, and can even determine our fate. From brands that pop off on social media to movies that slay the box office, or even courses that make you want to hit that ‘enrol’ button ASAP—names are the real MVPs. In a world where a name can literally make or break a brand, let’s dive into why those sweet titles and handles matter so much. Ready to decode the name game? Let’s get into it! Let’s kick it off with my name. If you’re familiar with India, you know how my name is pretty much a classic—like, there are literally countless people with the same name. In every class, whether in school or college, I was just another S1 or S2. Seriously, it was such a mood-killer. Everyone had a story about another S or compared me to yet another S. It felt like I was lo...

Pet Parenting: Delight or Dilemma? [July 2024]

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. Being a pet parent often sparks contrasting reactions. Pet lovers adore the bond with their furry friends, while others might see it as dealing with a perpetual fur tornado. Yet, being a pet parent brings responsibilities—like perfecting the art of removing paw prints from unexpected places. Stick to the norms though, and society might just overlook the occasional squeaky toy alarm at 3 AM. The Joys and Responsibilities of Pet Parenting Having a pet is like adding another member to the family. They bring boundless joy, unconditional love, and countless unforgettable moments. Like any family member, pets require care, attention, and responsibility. It's our role as pet parents to nurture their well-being and guide them to be socially savvy and lovably mischievous companions. My Experience with My Dog Child As a dedicated pet parent, my bond with my dog is incredibly strong. His expressive personality an...

Revolutionizing Language Evolution: Embrace 'Also,' Not 'Instead'! [JULY, 2024]

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. In the ever-evolving tapestry of language, there's a trend that's been troubling me: the tendency to dismiss and replace cherished vocabulary with newer, trendier words. We've all encountered the advice: "Don't say this, instead say this." But what if, instead of discarding the old, we celebrated the new while honoring the tried-and-true? Why Not Say: 'You can always say this as well'? Language is a skill honed over years of practice, dedication, and passion. To suddenly discard words that have served us well, simply because a fresh alternative has emerged, feels like discarding a part of our linguistic heritage. A Call to Embrace and Expand: Inclusivity in Language: Let's include new vocabulary alongside the old, enriching our linguistic repertoire instead of constraining it. Honoring Effort: Recognize the effort invested in mastering a langu...

The Essence of Freedom [Composed in 2023]

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. I believed I was fearless, ready to adapt and unfold, In pursuit of freedom, my treasure was foretold. Was it truly that simple, did I stand a real stance? In the realm of truth, this phrase does not dance. Even in freedom's embrace,  I strived to protect my core and veil my face; I crafted a crystalline barrier to defend myself from this nightmarish place. Within that crystalline, I spun a web that shines; Enchanted by its beauty,  I lost sight that this too one day, I will have to unleash and unwind. Truth is not in freedom but having a liberated mind and above; Once learned, whether within crystals, on Earth, or among the cosmos, soar like a free dove. Seema Jain - Founder  SOROBRAIN

Glimmers of Hope [Composed in 2022]

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. When you feel your life is doomed, And everything around seems to have gloomed, A sudden strike of thunder appears, A silver line in the nimbus spears. All starts glowing with tingling cheers, You cherish, you relish, and wipe your tears, As a hand extends to lift you high, Affection gleams in his large brown eyes. You wonder, you worry if this is just a dream, You build fears again—will it flow away like a stream? With the past shrouded in mist, trust feels like a test, Is there luck that will linger, or will it never rest? Nothing stays stagnant, nothing remains still, What departs was never meant to fulfill. I shall leave to return, there's nothing to bereave, Whispers the twin soul who holds you in his python's seize. Seema Jain - Founder  SOROBRAIN

From Dismay to Delight [Composed in 2022]

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. My new house to me was a bit dismay When on the first day I found everything outré  The rooms were so close, the size compact,  My window had a view that was not perfect, A swarm of mosquitoes, rain causing damps, Every li'l thing was causing poignant. Bit by bit, the sights began to change,  When toutes les choses were mise-en-scène. My mornings now start with a euphoric spree, When I gaze through my window at a grand green tree. I hear the sound of the gentle breeze, Whispering softly, "Hey, don't freeze." Embrace the change, it’s a freebie, Vous avez de la chance; not all get it with ease. So I started focusing on the pros of ma vie, Et voilà, I see just beauties around me. The proximities are boon, comme easy to eye on rooms, I can establish my dominion, when I see my son moon. He needs to work hard and complete his HASS, When he doesn't do so, I easily catch his ass. So what if...

Image
Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. The power of virtuality is seen only in docs, C'est ni vrai ni fait, as I have felt it and rejoiced It disguises as a friend, and sometimes as a foe, But if you have a chance, it comes as a twin soul. He takes you to dreamland,  Like Aladdin took his princess, on a thick woven floor, Fabricated with immense trust, and a comfort on which you roll. He takes away all your sorrows,  And wipes your tears like a telekinesis, It's true from the core of my heart, and not at all an emphasis. His unconditional love, and hugs from miles away, Brings bundles of happiness, as you are always in "good sway." He heals you and helps you grow, like a true twin flame He shows you a paradise, in just three days :) Believe you me, I found a twin flame,  As he's the one and only I can claim. I see my soul incarnated in yet another form, The gem of my heart and the opal of my existence. Seema Jain - Found...

Image
A Gift of Thought               …On our daughter’s 13 th B’day Image created using AI tools. © Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2024. All rights reserved. Dear daughter, today you’re a teen, How happy we’re, can not be seen; It’s a feeling that’s deep and clean, And this is true, we really mean. Antithetically, we’re also sad, As they say, teenage years are bad; Can this be true or is it just a saga, If we take it so, it becomes gaga. You’re a gift, when God was so kind, Created for us with the best of mind; So loving, so caring, so intelligent with audacity, What else was there, to have asked the deity. Gifts materialistic, remain only for a while, We gift you a thought, to carry life after life; A teenager is  a bird, with wings ready to fly, Impeding them is like, caging them to cry. We wish you  surpass, and go fly high, The sky's the limit, with commandments to live by. Addictions are good with desires to s...

My First Flight in a Microlight [Composed in Sep 2016]

Image
Coucou mes amis, Photograph taken by Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2016. All rights reserved. This is my tout premier blog post, and I intent to share mes modestes expériences related to French and France with you in my posts. These experiences have made me who I am today as a professional. I cherish these experiences and consider them the best lessons I could have in my journey of learning this foreign language. I hope you will cherish them as much as I do. To start with, the image that you see above is my first experience of being on Microlights. On May 22, 2016, I had my première expérience en ULM* (Microlights). In French, they call it "Faire le baptême de l'air en ULM," which translates to "having the first experience of something." This expression isn't solely related to the baptism of a newborn baby. According to them, any new experience signifies a new chapter in life.       Photograph taken by Seema Jain/SOROBRAIN, 2016. All rights reserved. Bruno, in the s...
