My GSM (Glad Sad Mad) Network with India [Composed in July 2012]

India is 1/3 the size of the United States...that makes me Sad,

With population the second-largest ....that makes me Mad,

But size the Seventh-Largest....that makes me Glad.

Millions of Indians are millionaires...of course makes me Glad,

Yet most Indians live on Rs.100/- per day of fare...really makes me Mad,

Still 35% live below the poverty line of scare...that is actually Sad.

India has the largest postal network, I feel Glad,

With 150,000 post offices of effort, oh that’s Mad,

Even then a letter takes 2 weeks/30 miles to trek, very Sad.

Four major world religions originated here, Glad

(Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Sikhism)

Religious Fundamentalism brings fear, Mad

They kill, divide and pass tear, Sad

India’s blessed with diverse environment, to be Glad

Mountains, beaches, forests, rivers, but people sciarant, to be Mad

Awareness and lack of care for the environment, to be Sad

India is the world's Largest democracy,

And has the world’s largest movie industry,

Agriculture the most important economic sectors for the country,

Glad! Glad! Glad!

India leads the world with the most murders,

And rate of abortions crossing borders,

Booming ‘Black Money Economy’ by Corrupters,

Mad! Mad! Mad!

India as an undisciplined, intolerant nation,

Declining importance of educators’ promotion,

Health of the people and human life predation,

Sad! Sad! Sad!
